Managing Director and company founder, David has worked in the premium funding market for over 26 years, giving him a great depth of knowledge and experience of the industry.  He provides a strong vision for the overall strategic development and growth of Financial Synergy Ltd.  He has a genuine passion and drive for the business and is highly motivated to ensure all areas of the business are functioning to an exceptionally high standard, in order to supply the best possible service to our Brokers and their clients.

Cara joined Financial Synergy in 2005 and has a strong background in marketing and brand management working for companies in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom, including L'Oreal, DB Group and Goldman Sachs. Cara is responsible for a wide range of functions within Financial Synergy, such IT Development, company operations, broker training and support, promotion and strategic direction for FSL.

Kathryn Williamson

After working for a number of companies in Administration and Accounts roles, Kathryn joined FSL in 2011 and has used her past experience to ensure the smooth running of the office at FSL.  In her role as Client Relationship Manager Kathryn manages functions such as, broker settlements, client payments, quotes, reporting, broker relationships and general enquiries. Kathryn is detail focused and she ensures that the work she performs is always done to a very high standard, with professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.

Maria is our client services extraordinaire!  Originally from Argentina, Maria joined FSL in 2019 and quickly became an indispensable member of our team.  Maria has a degree in Actuarial Science and worked for companies such as Banco Ciudad and PWC in Buenos Aires. Maria manages loan processing, quotes, reporting, broker and client queries.  Maria also assists with training and education of brokers and broker relationships.

Michael Skilling

Independent Director

Mike joined the board of FSL in July 2012.  He has extensive Business, Agribusiness, Commercial banking and Governance experience spanning more than 30 years.  He is a Director on a number of other boards, including SBS Bank and Global Financial Services Ltd and was a founding director of THE ICEHOUSE. Mike is a Fellow of Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and a member of the NZ Institute of Directors.
